| 南极海底地名是极地地理实体标识的关键组成部分，其专名命名规律研究对理解南极探索 历史与科考活动具有重要意义。然而，现有研究缺乏对专名采词类型规律的系统性解析。文章基 于南极研究科学委员会（Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research，SCAR）和国际海底地名分委会（Sub-Committee on Undersea Feature Names，SCUFN）截至 2025 年收录的 313 条南极海底地名数据，构建了四级分类体系和“采词类型特征—语言本体特征—时空演化规律”三维分析框架。研究结果表明：（1）南极海底地名的专名采词类型以人文历史类为主导，占比为 62.9％ ；（2）语义上名词性专名占绝对优势，占比为 98.7％ ；（3）结构上以 3 字及以上的多字专名为主，占比达
86.3％ ；（4）时空分布上采词类型偏好呈现出从早期探险纪念向现代科学考察过渡的趋势，且不同海域的专名采词类型偏好与其背后的探索历史和地理环境密切相关。文章为后续南极地名研究 提供了新视角，可为我国参与国际海底地名命名事务提供参考。 |

| Analysis of Lexical Selection Characteristics and Naming Rules of Proper Names for Antarctic Undersea Features |

| Antarctic undersea feature names form a core component of the identification system for polar geographic entities．Research on the naming rules of their constituent proper names carries significant implications for understanding the history of Antarctic exploration and scientific expeditions．However，existing scholarship lacks a systematic analysis of the patterns underpinning the lexical selection of proper names for Antarctic undersea features． In this study，we compiled a dataset of 313 Antarctic undersea feature names officially archived by the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research（SCAR）and the Sub-Committee on Undersea Feature Names（SCUFN）up to 2025．Based on this dataset，we established a four-level classification system and a three-dimensional analytical framework：lexical selection features—linguistic ontological features—spatiotemporal evolution patterns．The findings reveal the following patterns：（1）For lexical selection，proper names are dominated by the humanistic and historical category，which accounts for 62.9％ of the total samples.（2）For semantic attributes，nominal proper names are overwhelmingly dominant，accounting for 98.7％ of all entries．（3）For structural characteristics，proper names consisting of three or more Chinese characters predominate，with a proportion as high as 86.3％．（4）For spatiotemporal distribution，the preference for lexical selection types exhibits a distinct transition from themes of early expedition commemoration to those of modern scientific research．Meanwhile，the lexical selection preferences of proper names in different sea areas are closely correlated with their respective exploration histories and geographical environments． This study provides a novel analytical perspective for subsequent research on Antarctic toponymy，and offers a scientific reference for China’s participation in the governance of international undersea feature naming.
