Guide for Reviewers

 

We are grateful for the commitment of reviewers to Ocean Development of Management. Please kindly take note that:

 

The review comment should be returned within 2 weeks. The reviewers should inform the editorial office if they decline the review due to lack of time or mismatch of research field. We would appreciate it if other suitable review experts are recommended.

 

Ocean Development and Management aims to build a high-level comprehensive platform for academic exchange in the field of marine management and oceanic engineering in China.

 

Reviewers should be strict when putting forward comments for manuscripts and instructions for revision. Research papers should be original and innovative. Requirements for review articles are as follows: (1) The article should sufficiently reflect the latest progress in oceanology and related disciplines. (2) The author should have a strong ability of literature analysis, having a deep understanding and sharp perspective for research frontier. (3) Preferably the author should have a sound research experience.

 

In order to ensure the objectivity and impartiality of peer reviewer process, the journal adopts a double-blind system. The author names shall be hidden during review and the name of reviewers will also be confidential.

 

Please give clear conclusions for the manuscripts, including:

Innovation: significantly innovative, innovative, fairly innovative, not innovative, etc.

Quality: excellent, good, medium, poor, etc.

Decision: publishing, publishing after revision, review again after revision, rejection.
