Ocean Development and Management was founded in 1984, formerly known as Ocean Development and Ocean and Coast Development. It is a comprehensive academic journal of oceanology in China, governed by the Ministry of Natural Resources, sponsored by China Ocean Press.
Aim
The aim of the journal is to build a high-level comprehensive platform for academic exchange in the field of marine management and oceanic engineering in China.

1. Comprehensive Management: strategic planning, policy and law, resource management, ecology and environmental protection, forecasting and disaster reduction, rights protection, marine law enforcement, etc.
